What is Brown Sugar?

I never get sick of this movie, and that line just summarises how l see my girls (myself included *clears throat*)...
No, our technical problem has not been resolved but I was really itching for a post so I removed some pics from our PicasaWeb album (which is linked to Blogger) so I could hav space for this post.
Was in Jozberg two weeks ago and it was so awesome to be reunited with my friends even if it was just for a couple of days. We've come a long way, from gradually gravitating towards each other in first year to experiencing each others' graduations, we can safely say Wits didn't push us over that famous edge.
One thing we have in common is ambition, cause while it's all good and well to be the most beautiful girl in the room, not all of us can be the face of L'oreal...and besides, looks fade but nobody can ever take away your degree...
K, that was my Oprah moment, now to the pics...
Speacial shout out goes to Nans. No pics of her from the day but this post would be incomplete without her. 11yrs and still going strong, I'd jump infront of a plane for her! <3

Technical Difficulties
Happy Easter Err'body!!!
We hope everyone gets time to just recoup over this long weekend, it couldn't have come sooner! Kudos to everyone who survived all 40 days of lent, you're stronger than most!
It is with great regret that we announce the temporary break of September34. We're currently experiencing some technical difficulties with Blogger. Looks like we've been capped because we've apparently reached our space limit so we can't post any pics :( ...we're busy working hard to resolve this so we can bring you the best of us. If anyone can help, please drop us an email on nans.september34@gmail.com or a comment on this page!
In the words of Alicia Keys, "We gotta stay tuned, Cuz there's more to see..Through the technical difficulties.
We might have to take a break, But ya'll know we'll be back next week" ...ok maybe not next, but soon yeah???

Glamour Stiletto Run
So while I was busy going throug my Twitter timeline earlier this week I bumped into this little challenge in the form of the Glamour Magazine Stiletto Run. Since I had already been training for Run Jozi ,I decided to sign up, so every day this week, while I was on the treadmill (sweating bullets), I just pretended that I was doing this in heels...
After all of that let's just say that ...well, it's a lot more difficult in reality...uneven pavments are not really 13cm-heels-friendly.
I take my hat off to all the winners, some people were pulling a Zola Budd on heels out there! As for me? Call me for any bare-footed runs in the future, I'll stick to walking in heels!
